Globes Vs Maps

The pros of globes are that they are in 3-d, they can rotate, you can see whole continents and oceans, how they really are placed on earth. They are really accurate. They are really simple to look at, they have topography. They are good for use in science. The cons of globes are they are big, awkward and hard to take to places. They are hard to find 1 specific place on them. You can only see countries/continent and oceans and  you can't see towns, citys, or streets.

The pros of maps are that they are zoomed in so you can see certain areas instead of the whole world. Really good detail and they have alot more information. They are good for use in social studies. They are portable and smaller than a globe and they have map keys. The cons of maps are that they can rip and they can blow away. They are inaccurate. They have to many towns and road. They are in 2-D and they can have distortion.
